Shah Alam
Leave Kuala Lumpur and drive along the Federal Highway through the satellite town Petaling Jaya before arriving at Shah Alam. En route, take quick stop for photos at the Sultan Salahuddin Mosque (popularly known as The Blue Mosque). Capped by one of the largest domes in the world, the mosques occupies about 36 acres of beautiful parkland. A ten minute drive brings you to the Agriculture Park at Bukit Cahaya. Here you will visit the Animal Park, where a long suspension bridge will allow you to see various animals in their natural habitat. The Mushroom Garden showcases a vast collection of the fungus. See in their natural state ingredients that enrich your food at the Spice Garden—the very spices over which nations when to war less than 500 years ago. Visit the Orchid Garden where hundreds of different species bloom in an array of different colours. Putrajaya Tour
Putrajaya is located about 25km south of Kuala Lumpur, sitting on a magnificent 4581 hectare spread. About 40% of its surroundings are entirely natural. Tempurung Cave
Concealed inside massive limestone hills is an intricate system of caves. These honeycombed caves are breathtaking gallery of stalagmites and stalactites. The amazing rock formations are superb speleological wonders, found only in this part of the world. Gua Tempurung is the main attraction here. The cave meanders under the limestone hill and forms a tunnel of wondrous and endless rock formations that runs east to west, nearly 1.9km in length. Walking platforms have been built within some parts of the caves, making an excursion a breeze. Normal white light is used so that the original and pure state of the exhibits is retained. Visitors are now able to appreciate these wonders of nature in a comfortable, yet unobtrusive, environment.
