Important Notice: Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) Requirement
Effective January 1, 2024, MDAC completion will be MANDATORY for ALL FOREIGN VISITORS. To register for MDAC, visitors must provide all required information on the MDAC registration portal.
Entry into Malaysia requires presenting passports and the completed MDAC to immigration upon arrival. Ensure that your trip details, including arrival and departure dates, mode of transport, and the last port, fall within the three-day timeframe when submitting the MDAC.
The following categories are exempted from this requirement:
- Citizens of Singapore
- Diplomatic and Official Passport holders
- Malaysian Permanent Residents and Long-Term Pass holders
- General Certificate of Identity (GCI) Brunei Darussalam holders
- Brunei Malaysia Frequent Traveller Facility holders
- Thailand Border Pass holders
- Indonesia Cross-Border Travel Document (PLB) holders
