Then hop onboard Penang’s unique ‘King of the Road’ – the Trishaw, for a brief exhilarating ride through the streets of the city to the Pinang Peranakan Mansion. This 19th century-old townhouse of eclectic design and architecture incorporating tiles and Scottish iron-works, displays over 1,000 pieces of antiques and collectibles. Here, learn about the cultural heritage of the Nyonya and Baba – the Straits Settlements’ Chinese.
